modular portal wire saw PWSS-3000
The modular portal wire saw is designed for cutting mobile workpieces such as pipelines, steel or concrete components etc.
The portal is intended for mobile use, which implicates lightweight components with a max. weight of 60 kg and size of max. 2,5 m.
The whole system fits into a small van!

Field of application
- Suitable for working on items with a size up to 3 x 3 m.
- The portal is driven by a standard wire saw DSW1510-CA or a large wire saw DSW 3018-E.
- The portal can be set up in various configurations.
- Options are available in regard of safety devices and wire cooling, see "Options".
- Easy to move due to low-weight individual components with a maximum of 60 kg.
- Suitable for diamond wires of Ø 8 to 12 mm.

Options
- Sawing wire sleeves for covering moving wires leading to and from the wire saw machine.
- Telescopic protective cover, can easily and infinitely be adjusted within the size of 3 x 3 m. Using this device, the wire is totally encased for maximum safety in the case of a wire break. Total weight of the safety covers: 110 kg.
- Temperature sensors are especially recommended for dry cutting applications.
- Cold-air nozzle for a maximum durability of steel-cutting applications.
